Hello, Ben!

Glad to have you back home again. The folks have been worried, what with you running off like that.

I just re-found good ol’ Ben’s blog (former roommate of Angelique Ben). It made me happy for three reasons: one, he had rescued a great New Yorker George Meyer interview from the cyber-depths, which I had long ago clipped out of the mag and lost forever; two, he gets righteously and geekily (and rightly) indignant about a Microsoft Office training at his work; and three (another work story), he talks about having lunch with Bush Treasury Secretary Jack Snow. THE JACK SNOW! And he didn't even get an autograph.

In appreciation for the second one, here’s a dumb story about some poor MS temp who got canned today for blogging about Microsoft buying some G5s.
