I had made a conscious decision that putative.coom wouldn't become a baby blog, but then again maybe a baby blog is better than a never-updated blog. So here's a mix, with a recent cute Silas waking-up pic:
The new wonderful thing about young Master H? He started smiling, which let me tell you after a couple months of his (relatively) quiet, inexpressive baby-as-humbow state is pretty exciting:

I think that "Let me tell you about my baby" is second only to "Let me tell you about my character" in the interest/disinterest disparity between speaker and listener.
I mean unless you're a baby nerd like myself.

Wait, your baby was a humbow? I can hardly wait 'til he moves on to the Thanksgiving turkey stage, smiling or otherwise.
With the HB-PH genes, I doubt he'll ever reach a reasonable comparison to a side of beef, but my rancher has made the statement that his pigs remind him of kids. So there's his goal: approximate size of a hog.
