Brendan's big giant story in this week's Stranger

I almost didn't read this because I have work to do and it's so long, but it is absolutely worthwhile, even if you don't live in Seattle. I thought it was about speakeasies, but it's actually about crazy, expensive, and incredibly convoluted and wasteful incompetence (and, arguably, malfeasance) on the part of the FBI and SPD, in a story that's nutty and complicated enough to be a feature film.

Thank you, RJS! This video has so many things going for it. Among the best, the Running Man at 1:30 and the quasi-beat box culminating in a tremulously gruff "Hit me!" at about 1:45. I don't feel bad for this kid, because no matter what he does with his life—whether he becomes a gun runner or a televangelist—he can look back at this video as a piece of pure awesomeness.
