Thankfully, I saved the url with the elusive solution the last time this happened—but then stupid Adobe got rid of that url in their knowledge base. Stupid Adobe! Thankfully (again), I used the Internet Wayback Machine to dredge the article up, and I will save it here as a pdf for perpetuity.

For the record, skip all that time-wasting reinstallation bullshit. It doesn't work. You likely need to make the suggested mods (or deletions) to the FlexNET folders.
