I know, the economy is still somewhat crap, and we're starting to fret about the potentiality of Mitt Romney, but humans are still blessedly, blissfully humans, and they're starting to figure things out about the world and to really use the hell out of this beautiful, democratizing, global, interconnected mechanism of technology in our hands. Witness, of late:
- Patton Oswalt philosophizing on the way comedy—and, in theory, everything creative—is wholesale changing, and fecund for it (thanks for the link, Bobby D)
- The New York Times is now supported more by readers than advertisers (see also, Penny Arcade on Kickstarter)
hope springs eternal.
